Refund Policy.
One-Time Membership Application Fee
The Society charges a single, non-refundable application fee to process membership requests. This fee encompasses administrative expenses and evaluation procedures. Paying the fee does not ensure acceptance into the Society. The membership committee retains complete authority over all admission determinations.
Once payment has been submitted, no refunds will be issued, regardless of whether an application is accepted, denied, or withdrawn by the applicant.
No Renewal Fees
Members receive lifetime status following a single payment. There are no recurring dues, renewal fees, or subscription charges associated with OLPS membership. Members maintain their standing permanently, provided they follow the Society’s operational guidelines and conduct standards.
Duplicate or Accidental Payments
Those who experience erroneous or duplicate charges must contact the Society within seven business days using written communication. The notification should contain the member’s full name, email address, transaction date, amount, and explanation. Following verification, the Society will refund the extra charge through the original payment method.
Donations
Charitable contributions are entirely voluntary and cannot be refunded. The Society may redirect funds designated for inactive programs toward broader organizational purposes.
Donations do not guarantee membership, influence, or special privileges within the Society.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Members should reach out to the Society at oplpreserve@gmail.com before initiating bank-level disputes. Unjustified chargebacks may disqualify future applicants from membership consideration.
Processing & Review
Secure payment processors handle all transactions. The Society does not retain full banking data. Approved refund requests process within fourteen business days.
Policy Updates
The Society may revise this policy at any time, with updates posted online and dated appropriately.
